Convert videos and create short GIF clips
Use MP4 for a broadly compatible H.264 video, MOV when your workflow needs that container, or a short GIF clip for a looping animation without sound.

MP4 and MOV exports
AVI, MOV, MKV, WEBM and MPEG inputs can be exported as MP4. MP4 to MOV produces H.264 video and AAC audio in a MOV container. Video is re-encoded; the result is not a lossless remux or a ProRes master. Only the first video and first available audio tracks are kept.
Choose a maximum resolution
720p usually produces a smaller result than 1080p. Dimensions are fitted to the selected bounds while preserving the aspect ratio, without upscaling. Output uses up to 30 frames per second. Input video is limited to 4096 × 2160 pixels, with a one-minute duration on Free or ten minutes on Pro.
Create a GIF from a short moment
Choose a starting time, then a 5, 10 or 15 second clip and an output width of 320, 480 or 720 pixels. The clip ends when the source ends. GIF output uses 10 fps, a reduced palette and no sound. A shorter, narrower clip is usually much smaller.
Convert an animated GIF to MP4
GIF to MP4 exports one animation cycle, without audio. It does not create an infinitely long video; the player controls repetition. GIF inputs are limited to 200 frames and 80 million total decoded pixels. A single-frame GIF may be too short to act as a useful video.
Credits and downloads
Video conversions use ten credits per started minute. For video to GIF, the selected clip duration determines the credit quote. A clip of up to 15 seconds therefore uses ten credits. All results must fit the output size and processing-time limits; keep your source and review the downloaded result.
