Convert RAR to ZIP while keeping folders and file names

Upload a single unencrypted RAR archive to RAR to ZIP, review the credit quote and download the ZIP. Ordinary files and folder structure are preserved; the converter does not run the files inside.

Repackage a supported RAR archive as ZIP, understand expansion limits and troubleshoot encrypted or split archives.

Choose a complete archive

Use one complete RAR file. Password-protected archives, encrypted headers and split volumes are not supported. For a multipart archive, use an archive program on your device to create a single supported archive first. Changing the filename extension alone does not convert its contents.

Understand compressed and unpacked sizes

A small RAR can expand into much more data. Free allows up to 200 archive entries and 100 MB unpacked; Pro allows 1,000 entries and 200 MB unpacked. File upload and output limits also apply. Unsafe paths, duplicate names, unusual entries and excessive expansion are rejected.

Review the quote before converting

Server processing costs one credit per started 10 MB of unpacked contents. The quote is based on archive metadata, rather than only the uploaded RAR size. Credits are reserved on confirmation, charged after success and released if the conversion fails or is cancelled.

Check the ZIP in your archive app

Open the downloaded ZIP and compare the folder tree and expected files before removing the original. Repackaging does not make an unknown file safe or verify its contents. Server files expire one hour after upload, so download the result promptly.
